Traditionally, shipbuilding and railcar manufacturing industries have been heavy in manual labor, with few if any automated processes. At BRIC, we are trying to change that.

With automation companies focused on the automotive sector, many robots and automation equipment is neither heavy duty enough, nor capable of handling the large, awkward parts involved with these industries. BRIC has been involved in these sectors for years, and we understand the challenges, from an automation and safety standpoint.

Our designs, and robotic products are designed to have the reach, payload and ruggedness required for handling and processing large, heavy and awkward parts. Our robotic blasting, coating, and depainting systems are designed with features that match those of heavy industry requirements.

We are working with international leaders in this field, and constantly improving and adding to our repertoire of designs well suited for ship building and railcar in both new manufacturing and for the repair depots.
