| BRIC has designed a Prototype System for ultrasonic inspection of small to medium sized bonded-metal and composite structures using a resonance probe. Parts capable of inspection using this System include flat parts and many 3D shapes. This System can improve inspector productivity by automating the data collection process, and saving data in an onboard PC for post-analysis. Key features of the Prototype System are to include; fast and accurate data collection; be easy to operate; and requires no preprogramming of parts in most cases. The System includes a full color Operator Interface with configurable graphics, trending, and varying security levels. A network interface provides connectivity to other facility networks. An Alarm Management feature includes the ability to set levels for output data, or send email alerts to specific people. |
