For Immediate Release Monday, March 1, 2010

BRIC Engineered Systems Limited is pleased to introduce its latest addition, the Mantis Robot. The BRIC Mantis Robot is designed to integrate CO2 or Fiber Lasers for complete de-coating, cutting, welding or marking capability. Renowned for designing innovative robotic solutions, the latest BRIC robot design incorporates BRIC’s own Contour Following Technology, and that means no part programming required. The Mantis Robot is equipped with BRIC Technology that “sees” and is thus able to follow the contour of a part without preprogrammed trajectories, making this robot ideal for low volume, high mix applications. Currently in use by the U.S. Air Force, this proven technology platform is ideally suited for de-coating aircraft components, as well as for other processes, in aerospace, military and industrial applications.
